GLASBORD® with Surfaseal® is absolute hygiene for your spaces.

GLASBORD® is a FRP laminate sheet reinforced with fiberglass and a protective superficial treatment named Surfaseal. It is used for pairing sandwich polyurethane panels built by us, for the creation of buffers inside freezing doors, to cover plastered, painted or tiled walls using simply the sheet.

Is GLASBORD ® surface smooth or rough?

Glasbord ® surface is smooth but structured. So that the light is reflected in a diffused way avoiding eye stress.

Structured surface also helps protecting Glasbord ® surface from scratches.

Why is GLASBORD ® so easy to clean?

It depends on Surfaseal ® surface and the structure. Thanks to Surfaseal ® the surface is free from pores, avoiding the seepage of dirt.

This structure also helps to safely remove the residues of dirt.

Why is Surfaseal ®? surface so particular?

The Surfaseal ® film is applied on the surface during the production process with a special procedure. So that a uniform and without pores surface is created, avoiding the seepage of particles or microorganisms.

It is a unique advantage for Glasbord ® e Sufaseal ® products that allows the removal and cleaning of Glasbord ® panels without residues and germs.

Why use GLASBORD ®

On the walls where applicable hygienic legislation is not anymore respected and there is not a total food safety, GLASBORD ® is the perfect solution!
A specific elastic glue is applied on the surface without adding mechanical fastening systems.

Thanks to the surface, Surfaseal ® provides a high mechanical resistance, lowers cleaning time for the sanitisation to the minimum, gives significant brightness to the space. The smooth and non-porous surface prevents the formation of mould and does not increase the counts of bacteria.

HQS sealing

Additional advantage: the revolutionary "HYGIENIC QUALITY SYSTEM" designed for a joint between specific panels and sealing between joints with the dual component "HPS-2C" or "HPS-1C" single component.

The "HQS" system allows total flatness between the joints of the wall panels and ceiling to be achieved, thus avoiding having gaps and/or raised elements giving rise to the infiltration of dirt, causing the proliferation of germs and bacteria and complicating their removal.

After the combination of the panels, the "HQS" system avoids leaving sharp-edged edges on the joints, often the cause of accidental cuts to the worker during the manual cleaning phase.

This system allows for an extremely performing overall result to be achieved, able to fully meet the health and hygiene standards in force and the expectations of the end customer as it guarantees maximum resistance to mould and ease of cleaning.

The "HQS" system is suitable for all environments in contact with food, clean rooms and, in general, for all those environments that need extreme hygiene with a very high degree of finishing.

"HPS" sealing is performed without solvents, it is odourless, with a wide spectrum of adhesiveness and does not require any maintenance, even after undergoing "aggressive" treatments and frequent washing for the sanitation of environments
